OMARELI

Omar Eli Reyes is not limited to a single form of creative expression. His work reflects his ability to adapt, learn, and constantly evolve, making it a reflection of his personal and artistic growth.

After working in several architecture and design firms, in 2018 he founded Foraneo, a studio where he proposed projects that responded to the contemporary world, always seeking to incorporate character, rebellion, and authenticity.

Currently, his vision delves into the "art world," focusing his work on the creation of experimental pieces. His proposal is built from personal experiences. He spent his childhood surrounded by traditions, customs, and the stimuli of colonial architecture in a magical town in the High Mountain region, and his adolescence in the northern part of the country, immersed in skate culture, urban fashion, and music. This led him to be involved in various artistic practices from an early age, which helped shape his aesthetic vision.

He manages to reflect this in his work without defining himself in any one particular way, instead making it a compilation of different techniques, forms, colors, and textures. The result is unique pieces with daring and unconventional ideas that transcend conventional boundaries.

Omareli explores and proposes new forms from Mexico City, where he continues his search for new ways of expression.
