MONTSERRAT PIÑA BENETTS
Montserrat is designer focused on exploring the relationship between the organic and the synthetic. Seeking points of tension and balance between the two.
She develops sculptural objects and furniture through experimental processes that transform materials, challenging their original identity through color and texture, with accident and variation as key elements in her creative approach.
She is also the creative director of Parcela, a brand dedicated to the curation and restoration of antique objects, where she combines contemporary criteria with the historical value of the pieces she intervenes.
Her work has been presented in museums and art and design exhibitions in Mexico and Europe.
