Nuumbra is a multidisciplinary lighting design and production workshop founded in 2020 in Mexico City by Andros & Fiamma Díaz. Their practice combines architecture, lighting design and scenography with the firm objective of creating sensory experiences from light and shadow under the concept: design + fabrication.

Nuumbra seeks to approach the language of light from different optics and disciplines.

Andros Díaz. Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the UNAM. Founder and creative director of Nuumbra Studio. The world of light is revealed to him through his work in different manufacturing workshops and his collaboration with lighting design studios.

Fiama Díaz. Graduated with a degree in Scenography from the National Institute of Fine Arts. Assistant director and production manager, she began her career in the language of light by designing lighting and production for the performing arts.
