About

Toro Manifesto is created in Mexico City by: Regina Merino, Horacio Verastegui & Arturo Verastegui founders & long time Friends. Connecting from different paths, they found the same desire to emphasize the connection that exists with timeless objects.

The Verastegui brothers began their career in the decade of the 90´s. Manufacturing furniture in a contemporary rustic mexican style in solid white cedar wood; style created by Pritzker prize winner Luis Barragan. Over time they evolved until they encountered with collectible design pieces.

Regina, as an industrial designer started to work free lance at 2015. She started to work at Breuer in 2018 designing limited editions for the brand where she became passionate about object art.

Together they created TORO, complementing each other with their own strengths and experiences, they generated their own Manifesto

OBJECTS ARE STATEMENTS

Just as the bull represents an indomitable force, an act of bravery or a majestic presence, in TORO we want to capture that energy. Each piece seeks to tell a story. We want objects to become symbols of power and beauty.
